Every once and awhile I participate in a Pin Party. If you're a fan of Pinterest, you know what it means to Pin something. The blog world is big, and most of us are willing to help each other's blogs grow and be known. So we share a blog post and pin each other's posts to help maximize exposure to our blogs. Awesome right? And what's even better is to get more ideas! So my Making My Own post today comes from Julie's Eats and Treats, a GREAT post that I found through the pin party.

To make your own hot fudge sauce, all you need are these ingredients. For a specific how-to, click on the link above.

Then of course you need something to put your hot fudge on. Well look no further. This is our family's current FAVORITE DESSERT EVER! My kids call it a cookie monster and we call it a pazookie. It bakes up really quickly and tastes amazing!

Pazookie
1 Cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 C butter, softened
1/3 C sugar
1/3 C brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 C chocolate chips

Preheat your oven to 350. Cream your butter, sugars and vanilla with your mixer. Then add your egg. In a separate bowl combine flour, soda and salt. Gradually add your dry ingredients to your mixing bowl. Fold in the chocolate chips. Spread evenly into a 9 inch cake pan, cast iron skillet, or pie dish. (We used our corningware dish for a half recipe) Bake for 20-25 minutes. You want the edges to be golden brown and the center to still be a little doughy. After letting it cool for about 5-10 minutes add a layer of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and hot fudge sauce. Dig in, devour, and be delighted!
