I have a hard time paying for boxed Valentines, and I really wanted to make my son's Valentines last year, but never found anything I liked. So I *gasp* bought some.
This year I found THE perfect thing for my son and for my budget! Check out what you can do with a glow stick!
Or a pixie stick!
You can find the printable here, and there are lots of other star wars printables out there so search around and find the perfect one for you!
I got my glowsticks at Target, 15 of them for $1. There are 22 kids in his class so that brought my grand total to $2. You might err on the side of having too many and buy another tube of them b/c I kept accidentally cracking the glowsticks, rendering them useless for the kids! Grrr...
What are you doing for your kids' Valentine's this year?
Adorable!! My son loves Star Wars. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea so much that I shared it today on my Valentine Round Up at OneCreativeMommy.com. Please feel free to stop by and grab a featured button! (I don't have boys, but we adapted the pixie stick version to a bow and arrow with Disney's Brave.)
ReplyDeleteFor some reason the link won't work. Can you send it to me. I want to make these for camp without the valentines day on it. Thanks

My sister found the actual printable on another site that looks like it is now private. I can't send it to you, unfortunately, since I don't have it. Sorry!
