Scrappin' Wednesday no. 8

For this week's layout, I had a lot of fun making a "girly" page.  Our church put on a program for a daddy-daughter dance called the Princess Ball.  They dressed up like princesses, learned how to curtsy, made a wand, and spent the night dancing with their handsome princes- their daddies!

I love that for a week after the ball, my daughter called my husband "Prince Daddy".  So cute!

Anyway, one point of the event is to help the girls understand that they are daughters of a Heavenly King, and as such, are of great worth.  I used some of the words from one of my favorite LDS songs, "I am a Princess", to help her remember that as she looks back on these pictures someday.
