Hello! I'm Margaret South, the CCO (chief creative officer) of Southpaw Crafts. I'm a lefty (southpaw) who was raised in the south. I now live in a different part of the south. I married a South and now I tease that I'm more South than he is!
I love music and books and witty/punny stuff. I love the moment when someone looks at my designs and says "I get it!" As a former piano teacher I realized it was hard to find cute and creative tote bags for all those music books. And as they say, "the rest is history." Of course I couldn't stop at just tote bags, I also make music car decals, music related jewelry, onesies, and other goodies.

I recently added some book themed tote bags to my shop. Eventually my children (ages 11, 9, 7, 5, and almost 2 - it's an odd year around here) will learn to carry their own library books and keep track of their own library cards!
