Faster than Homemade, Better Than a Restaurant: Why you should try HoneyBaked Ham for Thanksgiving

Thank you to HoneyBaked Ham for sponsoring this post!

I have two types of friends; the first love an entirely homemade feast for Thanksgiving, complete with traditional dishes and treats, while the second are kind of over the whole "cook all day" thing and prefer to hit up a restaurant for their Thanksgiving meal.
Today's post is a happy marriage between the two, and might just make both types of friends have a simple and delicious Thanksgiving.
For my traditional friends:  3 reasons to try HoneyBaked Ham for Thanksgiving.
1.  Yes, they make turkey.   And it's delicious!
I've never had turkey from HoneyBaked Ham before.  They have roasted or smoked turkey breasts, and both come with the same delicious glaze that is on their famous ham.  It was tender, juicy, and flavorful- and the turkey breast fed four adults and three children without a noticeable dent!
Of course, if you don't like turkey, you can pick up one of their famous hams instead.
2.  Everything tastes homemade!
I am always nervous trying frozen food.  These dishes did not disappoint!  The stuffing tasted as if it came right out of the bird in the oven, and the sweet potato souffle is so good it's like eating dessert!

3.  Preparation time is so much shorter!
The turkey is best served at room temperature, so you simply take it out an hour or so before you want to eat.
Each side takes about an hour to heat from frozen- no thawing required!  And you can cook multiple sides at once with a slight increase in cooking time.
Even the pie only took about 25 minutes to bake.
This leaves you with much more time spent out of the kitchen and in  your loved ones' company.

For my restaurant-going friends:  3 reasons to try HoneyBaked Ham instead.
1.  You get the convienence of someone else preparing your food with the comfort of your own home.
All you have to do is throw it in the oven.  You can do that!  Then you don't have to worry about wait times, flagging down a waitress who doesn't want to be working, or being rushed out the door.
2.  Restaurant food is hit or miss.

Sometimes the food is amazing.  Sometimes you come away wishing you'd stayed home.  The food from HoneyBaked Ham is delicious every time!
3.  You'll have leftovers.  You don't get much of that from a restaurant!
My favorite part of Thanksgiving food is actually the turkey sandwiches the next few days, plus leftover stuffing and potatos.  Yum!  You won't get to take home much of your restaurant meal!

For this post, I visited the store in Glendale, Arizona.  I caught them off-guard because they weren't fully stocked for the holidays yet.  I'm told it should be set up now so you can come in and choose your turkey, ham, or seasonal sides and pies from a fully stocked freezer.  I chose a turkey breast, half ham (which I'll be reviewing later), the Stuffing and Sweet Potato Souffle sides, and an apple pie.  They didn't have their seasonal pies in yet.  Finally I picked up some Turkey gravy.
I have to say we loved everything!  My guests enjoyed it all too!  Everything looked amazing, and it only took me about an hour and a half to put a complete Thanksgiving feast on the table.
If you're not convinced to give them a try yet, from now until 1/11/15 you can enter to win a $25,000 HoneyBaked Kitchen Makeover when you buy a Ham and Turkey Breast bundle.
