I found the mini-pumpkins at Michael's- with my 40% off coupon they cost about $3.00. The wreath form and burlap I already had, so this was a frugal project for me.
I took my wreath form,
wrapped it in strips of burlap (hot-glued on)
and hot glued pumpkins all over it.
I chose to just put them where they fit, but you could do them in straight even rows if you'd like.
I just did the front, around the top edge, and a row towards the center of the wreath.
I added a double bow made from wired ribbon, which I also used to hang the wreath from my front door.
While it took awhile to glue all the pumpkins on, it was a simple wreath to make, and I love the touch of fall it brings into my home.
Did you make a wreath for fall? Are you totally over wreaths? I'd love to see what you use on your door. Share it on my Facebook page or share the link in the comments below.
I'm linking up to some of my favorite parties this week- join in and party along with me!
Cute!!! I found you through Keeping it Simple. This wreath is great! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteCute! I haven't made any. Although, I have been wanting to. I just can't bring myself to spend the money to do so...all of my decor and crafts are in storage...in another state! And the closest Michaels or Hobby Lobby is over an hour drive away! But I love yours!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this wreath! The mini pumpkins are so cute! Pinning it! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is SO cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the mini pumpkins! Very cool wreath. I have always wanted to hang a wreath but have yet to do so. I would have to hang it on the inside of the door and so far everything I like clashes with the door color. I need a new door! LOL!
ReplyDelete@stefani Thanks so much for you sweet compliment! I don't have your email so I am replying here. You should paint your door! There are some great colors out there.... Good luck coming up with something!
