The Handmade Hangout #95 + FEATURES!

Welcome to the Handmade Hangout- where you can link up all things made by YOU for a chance to be featured on six blogs!

This week I'm featuring three of my favorite projects from last week's linky.

1.  Bev from Flamingo Toes painted this gorgeous Mason Jar Pallet Art at a Pallet Painting Party.  Doesn't that sound like fun?

2.  This Key Lime Pie Dip from Shaken Together sounds absolutely delicious, and perfect for spring or summer get togethers!

This Key Lime Pie Dip is perfect for your next party, picnic or potluck - it is a no bake dessert recipe, so it is done in minutes!

3.  I am loving this Spring Mantle and Hearth from Worthing Court.  I would die to have this in my home!

This fireplace celebrates the arrival of spring by filling the mantel and hearth with texture and a mix of real and faux branches and greenery. From a basket overflowing with tulips to an urn filled with pussy willow branches, to a magnolia leaf wreath to an abundance of boxwood orbs, there's no doubt what season it is in this family room.

I love seeing what you're making each week.  Now- on to this week's linky:

Paper and Washi Tape Envelopes

These coordinating scrapbook paper and washi tape envelopes are the perfect way to give photos or prints as a special gift!

These scrapbook paper and washi tape envelopes are the perfect way to give photos or prints in a special way!

Recently, I directed a musical at my church called Esther and the King.  I had a ton of special people who worked on the production that I wanted to thank.   So, I ordered this print for each of them.

INSTANT DOWNLOAD! Perhaps you were born for such a time as this, Esther 4:14 - Navy

I didn't have the budget to frame each one, but I didn't want to just hand them a print.  So, I came up with this cute and affordable solution-- I made my own large envelopes using scrapbook paper and washi tape.

Come see the full tutorial to make your own over on Kenarry: Ideas for the Home where I am a monthly contributor.

What's your favorite thing to use washi tape for?

Free Spring Printable

Show your love for spring by displaying this lovely Spring Printable!

Celebrate spring with this watercolor wreath spring free printable!

I kind of miss "real" spring- that awakening after a long winter.  The gradual change from cold to warm.  The blossoming of the beautiful flowers.

Here in Phoenix, spring means tons of out of town visitors, baseball, way too much pollen, and the sudden change from 70 degree weather to 90+ degree weather.

Sigh.....

Still, we have some beautiful days to enjoy, and plenty of sunshine.  I whipped up a little print to display on my entryway table, and I thought you might like it too.

I used elements from Angie Makes and Kimber Dawn for this printable.

Vinyl "Welcome Home" Pallet Sign + Free Silhouette Cut File

Welcome Home Vinyl Pallet Sign with Gel Stain
Wow.

Life got busy there for a while.

I haven't had the time to think about crafting, let alone blogging about something!

I've been directing a musical for my church.  Our performances were last weekend.  It was a crazy, stressful, wonderful experience that I'm glad I got to have.

I'm also really glad it's over!

So now, I'm going to try to get some spring/Easter crafts done before this season passes me by.

Today's project isn't really seasonal, but I just wanted something fresh to hang up by my door.  This "Welcome Home" vinyl pallet sign is a super simple project you can make too!

Kids Craft: DIY Rain Stick

Make this easy DIY Rain Stick with just a few supplies you probably already have around the house!

Hi everyone!  I'm thrilled to be participating in Made With Happy's Kids Crafts From Around the World!

My husband served a mission for our church in Brazil.  He lived and worked along the Amazon River Basin.

My kids and I love to hear stories of his adventures there.  I can't imagine living where it is always hot and humid, surrounded by giant bugs, dangerous animals, and consistent rain showers!

I don't know if they actually make rain sticks in Brazil, but I wanted something for my kids that reminded them of my husband's adventures in the Amazon Rain Forest area.

Personalized Easter Baskets

Make these cute Personalized Easter Baskets for your kids this Easter!

It's March!  I can't believe it's already time to be thinking about all things spring and Easter!  Did March come in like a "lion" or a "lamb" for you?

Here in Phoenix it's been in the high 80's, and we've been soaking up the sunshine before it gets too crazy hot.

I've also been busy working my Silhouette.  Right now, Easter Baskets are all the rage in my Silhouette Facebook groups, so I decided to share the ones I made with you.
